About You
Are you experiencing anxiety or depression? Maybe you'd like to explore a recurring relationship pattern? Or a complex upbringing and how it has affected you? Or have an early experience or trauma that is affecting you as an adult?

Whatever your story, whatever your reason. Whether for an enduring problem or a temporary low patch, I offer a safe, secure and contained space to explore your past, present and future. Whether you are looking for short-term support, or to explore an early trauma or experience that has had lasting affects, I will be there with you on your journey and will accept whatever you have to bring.
Together we will explore, process and bring to light elements of your true nature and bring a level of acceptance and compassion for yourself and others. I will encourage you to bring your whole self to counselling; frustrations, anger, shame and guilt are very much welcome.
Although I have worked with a large variety of clients over the last 10 years, my specialism is in treating trauma of all kinds, particularly relational trauma caused by a difficult upbringing, a complex family system or narcissistic parenting. Being late-diagnosed ADHD myself, I also enjoy working with neurodiverse clients, who may be working to fully accept who they are.
I thoroughly enjoy my work with Rockabye CIC, a Bristol-based organisation offering perinatal groups. As such, I welcome all experiences of parenting and work with attachment across the lifecycle, including learning to parent differently to how we were parented.
Counselling can be painful, and at times things can get worse before they get better. Opening up old wounds can be very hard but you can be assured I will be with you every step of the way. Research has shown that one of the most important elements of successful counselling is a will to succeed and change, so if you’ve come this far, you’re most likely ready to face your darkest parts and come out the other side
